In memory of Shri P.L.Lele, 111 ArthaKranti supporters donated blood at Swachandi blood donation camp.

Swachandi pariwar, Pune is organizing a blood donation camp every year in memory of Late Shri. P.L.Lele, Principal at engineering college, Aurangabad.

Almost all Arthakranti volunteers and supporters show willingness in participating at this camp. This year, at 27th March 2011, 111 supporters donated blood at our camp. This is the 9th anniversary of this blood donation camp. This camp is organized at residence of Moreshwar Phalke -"Shiva-Smruti" bungalow, Navi Peth, Pune, in association with "Jana kalyan rakta pedhi".

At this blood donation camp, first time donor is given preference to donate blood. All the donors are given a sapling in return. Though this being organized as blood donation camp, many participants share their ongoing activities amongst and this makes it like a family function than just a dry blood donation camp. The list of all donors is updated and is also made available to all who are in need by Dr. Anjali Phalke (98811 57638).

Principal P.L.Lele use to love all his students. He had a hobby of trekking and unfortunately he died in an accident at one trek itself. Anil Bokil (Arthakranti volunteer) put forth idea of organizing such event in memory of Lele sir at 2001. Since then it is actively being organized successfully.
