AK-Convention: "Chalo Delhi” -15 August 2012

Arthakranti Pratishthan has arranged a convention for all its supporters on 13th, 14th August 2011 at Gandhi Bhavan, Kothrud, Pune.

Last year, during one of the Arthakranti Program at Aurangabad, it was decided and announced that a program from Arthakranti Pratishthan will be declared on 15-August-2011. On similar lines, to seek economic freedom for every citizen of this country, Arthakranti Pratishthan has decided to raise voice with ten thousand [10,000] citizens, through a program “Chalo Delhi” -15 August 2012.

If people are really willing to see Arthakranti proposal getting implemented in their lifetime, it is not difficult to group ten thousand people. This program needs lot of homework. “How this program should
be executed? What homework should we do?” will be discussed in this convention. It is expected that you too come up with some homework regarding this topic.

This convention will start on 13th August: 10am and will end on 14th August: 5.00pm. Tea, breakfast, Lunch will be served. Simple arrangement for night stay has been done for 60 people, who do not have
alternative option for stay in Pune. The contribution for all arrangement is Rs.500/person, which should be handover during registration at entry point at convention centre on 13th August 2011.

You need to confirm your presence at below mentioned contacts by 5th August 2011. Incase if someone needs separate arrangement for night stay, this can be done in additional cost. For this you need to confirm before 5th August 2011.

  • PMT Bus: “81, 283 – Kumbre park” bus pass over Gandhi Bhavan. You need to get down at “Gandhi Bhavan Andhashala” bus stop.
  • Reach at Cummins Company, Dhanukar colony by PMT - Malvadi, Warje, and KarveNagar. Gandhi Bhavan is at walk able distance from his place.
  • Since this place is very well know in city and is not out of city, Autowala can easily drop you at this place.

Dear All,

As you see around, public’s rage is rising against corruption, many are coming on streets and even taking up several ways to demonstrate against corruption.

We already know that we have a very effective practical solution at hand and what we want to make it happen, it’s the matter of fine tuning our strategies, plans and actions according to current dynamics.

As you might have seen the attached invitation for convention, please note following broad points as those will be discussed & decided about, during these 2 days.

To make the convention effective, we keenly request all of the attendees to come up with your suggestions, on these points, in writing. Those who cannot be there at convention, can submit theirs by mail till Friday 12pm or personally to any of the attendees.

  • What are the ways and means
    • To reach/convey the subject to every corner of the country
    • To amass the support, demand and to reflect the same
    • To keep consistent & effective formal communication with the government about taking up the subject for setting commission
    • To arrange for the event and to take required approvals
    • To raise required funds on/before time
  • Listing down that each of attendees is going to take up what.
  • Laying down broader timelines & immediate milestones on each front
  • How to keep communicating and to keep updating all of us?
  • What should be appropriate title for the ‘chalo delhi 2012’ event?

Objectives for ‘Chalo Delhi 2012’ event can be seen as

  • Conveying (by that event’s time) all people in the country that a positive & practical solution does exist.
  • Making Government set up a commission for taking decision on the proposal.
